The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is informing healthcare professionals and consumers of a nationwide recall on Vital Pharmaceuticals Stealth Chocolate and Stealth Vanilla powdered dietary supplements because the products have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
